LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION: Supervise Community Education Supervisor I staff in the Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Imperial, San Bernardino and Riverside region, as well as in the Siskiyou, Modoc, Lassen, Plumas and Sierra region. Supervise Community Education Specialists II's in Butte, Glenn, Nevada and Placer counties.
PROGRAMMATIC LEADERSHIP and INTEGRATION: Serve as the liaison between State, Regional and County programs, as well as building local community partnerships
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT OF STAFF INCLUDING: Professional Development, Performance Reviews, Program Evaluation, Staff Concerns, Staff Lesson Observations,
BUDEGTING AND ADMINISTRATION: Review/Approve Travel, Time Sheets and Purchases. Ensure compliance and best practices relative to expansion and review committees, 4-H outreach documentation, and county program fees. Liaison with State 4-H Office, Risk Management and Human Resources for Affirmative Action and Sexual Harassment Complaints.
MAIN POINT OF CONTACT IN PARTICIPATIONG COUNTIES FOR POLICY IMPLEMENTATION AND DETERMINATIONS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: Volunteer Appointments, Complaints, Fairs and Shows, Exchanges, New Regional and County events, Club chartering, VMO/Council Budgets, Bylaws and Constitutions, Name and Emblem, Bank Accounts, Financial Reporting, Accident and Injury Claims, Use Agreements, Alcohol, Drug and Tobacco violations
