Helping parents interact and guide their children in ways that promote their cognitive, social, physical, and intellectual development from birth through age 5. Materials are available in English and Spanish.

Program Goal - "Off to a Good Start" was developed by Sharon K. Junge, County Director and Nutrition, Family and Consumer Science Advisor, Placer and Nevada Counties and Sue Manglallan, Youth and Family Advisor. Our program provides parents/caregivers with the tools necessary to support their child's kindergarten success and assist them in understanding they are their child's first and foremost teacher.

Activity Pages for Children - We provide activity pages for you to do with your kids. The activities encourage children to cut, draw, and color to prepare them for kindergarten. Click here on Kids Pages.

Workshops - We are sad to announce that funding for the OTAGS program has run out and we will no longer be holding workshops or providing our services any longer. Please feel free to keep using our resources as you see fit and visit First 5 San Diego for more information.
