Program Goal - “Off to a Good Start” was developed by Sharon K. Junge, County Director and Nutrition, Family and Consumer Science Advisor, Placer and Nevada Counties and Sue Manglallan, Youth and Family Advisor. Our program provides parents/caregivers with the tools necessary to support their child’s kindergarten success and assist them in understanding they are their child’s first and foremost teacher.

Activity Pages for Children - We provide activity pages for you to do with your kids. The activities encourage children to cut, draw, and color to prepare them for kindergarten.
