Biography
Lindsey joined UCCE San Diego as a Staff Research Associate in September of 2023. She is currently working with the Area IPM Advisor, Eric Middleton, on an urban agriculture project looking at the feasibility of growing high value crops in small-scale urban settings in San Diego County.
Lindsey earned a PhD in plant pathology from UC Riverside, where she studied the soilborne fungal disease Macrophomina charcoal rot on strawberries. Prior to graduate school, she obtained a BS in microbiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she worked at the Cal Poly Strawberry Center.
