As a member of the NPI Operations Team, under general supervision of NPI's Chief Business Officer, the incumbent supports operational and research project functions. Uses knowledge and skills as an administrative professional with an understanding of UC system-wide practices, policies, and procedures. Uses knowledge of professional concepts to research, analyze, interpret and apply policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues that are moderate in scope and complexity. Works collaboratively with ANR Central Procurement, IT, Payroll, HR and business departments at other UC and non-UC locations. Serves as a liaison and hand-off point regarding supported actions and functions
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
The home department for this position is Nutrition Policy Institute. While this position normally is based at 1111 Franklin Street, Oakland CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements, for applicants living in the State of California, at this time. Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by the University.
Hourly Salary: $25.65/hr. to $30.79/hr.
This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
