Under the direction of the Team Lead, Administrative Assistant 2 will assist with the research and extension efforts of UCCE San Diego. These duties include but are not limited to purchasing, word processing, record keeping, database maintenance, and assisting in producing and duplicating reports and educational materials. The Administrative Assistant will perform office-related errands for supplies and materials for program needs, answer general phone lines, and other routine administrative duties. This position will also assist in the coordination and support of field days, workshops, and industry meetings, including maintaining and preparing registration and attendance records, room preparations, reproductions, continuing education credits, audio and visual equipment, travel options, and catering services. This position will also support the Master Gardener and 4-H volunteer programs with purchasing, administrative tasks and other duties.
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
Pay Scale: $25.60/hour to $30.41/hour
