We are seeking an Applications Programmer 5/Architect to join our IT team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on tackling complex challenges and creating impactful solutions that will impact employees and communities across the state of California!

Two (2) Applications Programmer 5 positions available.  Both positions apply skills as a seasoned, experienced software professional with a full understanding of industry practices, community standards and relevant policies and procedures to medium-sized projects or portions of large projects with moderate scope and complexity. Resolves a wide range of issues.  Demonstrates competency in selecting tools, methods and techniques to obtain results.

One working title of “Architect’ will design and architect complex web applications and systems and provides technical leadership and guidance to development team; and ensures the scalability, security, and performance of applications.  The Architect will also develop architectural designs and technical documentation, leads the selection of tools, coding standards, maintenance protocols and platforms. And stays updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

 

These positions are career appointments that are 100% fixed.

 

 Pay Scale: $107,200/year to $157,200/year
